GD Roberts & Co., Inc. is seeking a Payroll & HR Coordinator to ensure biweekly payroll runs flawlessly and maintain HR workflows with strict confidentiality.

You will process payroll, verify timecards, handle year-end tasks, manage personnel files, and support HR projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Monday–Friday schedule, onsite in Columbus, WI.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree required with 2-3 years experience or 5-7 years proven payroll/HR experience.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Process biweekly payroll accurately and meet deadlines.
  • Review timecards, audit hours, PTO, holidays, and bereavement time.
  • Reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies with benefit invoices.
  • Coordinate with Paylocity for system inquiries or corrections.
  • Assist with year-end processing, including W-2 preparation.

GD Roberts & Co., Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and reliable Payroll & HR Coordinator to join our team.

In this role, you will serve as a critical anchor for our team by ensuring our biweekly payroll runs flawlessly while keeping our core HR administrative workflows organized and compliant. Schedule: Monday – Friday from 7:00am – 4:00pm

Payroll Administration & Reporting
  • Process biweekly payroll accurately, ensuring all deadlines are consistently met.
  • Review and verify employee timecards, auditing regular hours, overtime, PTO, holiday, and bereavement time.
  • Reconcile payroll data following each processing period, verifying employer costs and resolving discrepancies between payroll records and benefit invoices.
  • Coordinate with Paylocity to resolve system inquiries, updates, or corrections.
  • Assist with year-end processing, including W-2 preparation and payroll-related audits.
Timekeeping & Attendance & Labor Reporting
  • Monitor employee timekeeping records daily, correcting missed punches by collaborating directly with supervisors.
  • Maintain the company attendance points system in accordance with internal policies.
HR Administration & Employee Support
  • Maintain active personnel files (both digital and paper) with strict confidentiality.
  • Manage employee documentation, from updating compensation and job information to processing terminations and preparing final paychecks.
  • Support general HR projects, data requests, and administrative tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications
  • Associates Degree Required with 2-3 years experience or 5-7 years proven experience in payroll/HR
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with extreme discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous professional experience in payroll processing, human resources, accounting, or corporate administration.
  • Familiarity with Paylocity or similar enterprise HRIS/payroll platforms.
