Job summary

Stevens Engineers & Constructors in Pittsburgh seeks an experienced Payroll Generalist to join the Pittsburgh Operations Payroll Team. You will manage daily field timesheets, process payroll data for new hires and changes, and ensure timely, accurate payroll administration.

This role requires strong finance knowledge, excellent communication, multi-tasking, and compliance; you will handle confidential information and work with payroll software within a safety-conscious environment.

Responsibilities

• Uploading and processing of daily field timesheets.
• Assist in processing payroll information (e.g., new hires, re-hires, address changes, changes to tax withholdings).
• Assemble and provide new hire packets for job sites.
• E-Verify all new employees and re-hires.
• Collect and file new hire documents.
• Assist in obtaining updated rate sheets and reporting forms from locals.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as needed.
• Maintaining confidential information by adhering to legal and ethical standards.

Stevens Engineers & Constructors has an excellent opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Payroll Generalist to become a member of the Pittsburgh Operations Payroll Team. The ideal candidate will be results driven, have a client focus approach and will work well independently and as part of the project team.

Uploading and processing of daily field timesheets.

Assist in processing payroll information (e.g., new hires, re-hires, address changes, changes to tax withholdings).

Assemble and provide new hire packets for job sites.

E-Verify all new employees and re-hires.
