Job summary

The NYC Financial Information Services Agency-Office of Payroll Administration (FISA-OPA) seeks a Payroll Funding Analyst to manage funding for all city payrolls. You will prepare schedules from RMDS, submit PRB1/PHM in FMS, and handle EFT escrows and ACH files.

You will also perform daily bank deposits with IDD devices, assist with direct deposit reversals, and respond to inquiries by phone or email while supporting a range of payroll funding tasks as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent professional credentials.
• Strong analytic and mathematical abilities with Excel proficiency.
• Experience with payroll funding systems and city financial platforms.

Responsibilities

• Fund City payrolls using RMDS and submit PRB1 and PHM in FMS.
• Calculate EFT escrow amounts and prepare funding schedules for EFT escrows, EFT Net Pay and negative escrows.
• Verify net pay and escrow ACH files for active and pension payrolls; release files via Infodex.
• Make daily bank deposits into multiple City accounts using IDD devices and distribute deposits by email.
• Assist with check refunds, direct deposit reversals and negative one-time deductions.
• Respond to direct deposit inquiries by phone or email.
• Perform other payroll funding tasks as directed by Supervisor/Directors.
