Job summary

Spaulding Clinical Research Llc is seeking a Finance & Payroll Administrator to support accurate payroll and accounting operations. The role manages time and attendance review, payroll processing, deductions, reporting, and payroll-related compliance, while working with the Finance team.

Additional duties include accounts payable processing, three-way matching, vendor payments, journal entries, month-end close, and assisting with audits and year-end reporting.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of payroll experience.
• 1–3 years of general accounting or accounts payable experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule, including timecards, reimbursements and deductions.
• Maintain payroll records, garnishments and retirement contributions.
• Support compliance with federal, state and local payroll regulations.
• Assist with year-end W-2 and 1095 reporting.
• Respond to employee payroll questions with confidentiality.
• Prepare payroll reports and analytics for Finance leadership.
• Process vendor invoices with three-way matching and GL coding.
• Record vendor and participant payments and daily bank transactions.
• Prepare and process journal entries for payroll and AP.
• Support month-end and year-end close and audits.
• Assist with special projects and other accounting activities as needed.
