Job summary

Turn2Partners is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support a high-volume payroll operation. You will process payroll changes, review documentation, and maintain accurate employee records to resolve discrepancies.

The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of payroll experience, hands-on processing, and familiarity with major payroll/HRIS platforms such as Lawson, ADP, UKG, or Workday, plus strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of payroll or related HR/payroll experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience with payroll processing, new hires, terminations, employee changes, and deductions.
• Experience working with tax elections and employee benefit deductions.
• Experience with a major payroll or HRIS platform such as Lawson, ADP, UKG, Workday, or a comparable system.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Review and process payroll-related employee documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Enter and maintain new hires, terminations, compensation changes, and other employee updates within the payroll system.
• Process employee tax elections, personal information changes, and benefit-related deductions.
• Review payroll documentation and employee data prior to processing to identify missing or inaccurate information.
• Assist with regular and off-cycle payroll processing activities.
• Research payroll discrepancies and help resolve employee pay issues following payroll processing.
• Partner with Payroll, Benefits, and HR teams to address missing documentation or employee information.
• Maintain organized payroll records and supporting documentation.
• Handle a high volume of payroll transactions, employee inquiries, and administrative requests while maintaining accuracy.
