Job summary

Flatiron Health is seeking a Payroll Associate to drive accurate payroll operations and equity compensation processing for over 3,000 employees. You will collaborate with Compensation, Accounting and HR Operations to ensure compliant payroll and equity funding.

The role requires expertise in Workday, equity administration, and advanced Excel, with a focus on data integrity and employee education. Hybrid work with strong benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience.
• Hands-on payroll processing in HRIS (preferably Workday).
• Experience with equity administration and taxation.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Strong communication with a diverse workforce.

Responsibilities

• Process US and international payroll for 3,000+ employees with data maintenance and audits.
• Administer state/local tax accounts and assist with ACA and 401k audits.
• Manage equity administration in EquatePlus, reconcile with Workday and GL.
• Own end-to-end equity payroll processing and timely reporting.
• Educate employees about the equity program and respond to inquiries via Zendesk.
• Improve processes, controls, and documentation for payroll operations.
• Collaborate with Compensation, Accounting, and HR Operations on projects.
