Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Payroll Director for a large healthcare organization. You will lead enterprise payroll operations across multiple states, overseeing a team and acting as the primary expert for Oracle Payroll.

You will partner with HR, Finance, and IT to optimize processes, drive automation, and ensure accurate, compliant payroll across 30,000+ employees. This is a strategic, high-visibility leadership role based in Nashville.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive payroll leadership experience within a large, complex organization.
• Hands-on experience managing Oracle Payroll in a production environment.
• Experience with Oracle Payroll release testing, system enhancements, troubleshooting, and payroll validation.

• Lead enterprise-wide payroll operations for a large, multi-state organization.
• Provide leadership and development for a payroll management team, including ~40 indirect reports.
• Act as the primary business leader and subject matter expert for Oracle Payroll.
• Partner with HR, Finance, and IT to enhance payroll processes, reporting, and system functionality.
• Oversee Oracle Payroll activities, including release testing, payroll validation, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
• Drive operational efficiencies, automation efforts, and process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing across multiple cycles.
• Support payroll transformation efforts and expansion of in-house payroll capabilities.
