Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated, is seeking a Payroll/Accounting Specialist in Havelock, NC. This role leads project cost management, financial analysis, payroll processing, and Deltek Costpoint administration, partnering with program managers to ensure cost control and compliant billing.

• Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related financial field.
• 5+ years of project cost management, financial analysis, and accounting operations.
• Deltek Costpoint system administration experience required.
• Understanding of DCAA guidelines and FAR regulations.
• Experience with multi-million-dollar project setups, complex reconciliations, and end-to-end billing/collections workflows.
• Strong cross-functional communication and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and execute accurate end-to-end payroll processing.
• Interpret and process wage garnishments, child support orders, and tax levies.
• Manage VETS-4212 reporting and ACA compliance (Forms 1094-C/1095-C).
• Coordinate during audits by IRS, DOL, or state agencies with records.
• Act as Deltek Costpoint administrator, drive system optimization and data integrity.
• Manage multi-million-dollar project setups and monitor expenditures with variance analysis.
• Prepare financial reports and deliver actionable insights to program managers.
• Streamline billing, ensure timely invoicing and reconciliations.
• Track payroll journal entries and reconcile bank statements monthly.
• Review expense reports and mileage reimbursements through payroll cycles.
• Handle independent contractor compliance and 1099 reporting.
• Ensure operations align with DCAA, FAR, and federal requirements.
