Bloomin' Brands seeks a payroll coordinator to join our Tampa office. You will handle inquiries via Workday, aid in processing payroll for hourly and salaried team members, and support weekly multi-state payroll with audits.

The role requires 3+ years in payroll, strong Excel skills, and strict confidentiality. Hybrid work arrangement includes in-office Tuesdays and Wednesdays with remote work two days weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources Management, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in payroll or related roles.
• Knowledge of federal and state wage and tax laws.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll information.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for payroll inquiries including earnings or deductions questions.
• Review and process ACH returns and assist with off-cycle checks.
• Process on-demand checks for terminations where required.
• Collaborate with payroll team on weekly multi-state payroll and audits.
• Support unemployment and garnishment administrations with information requests.
• Assist payroll tax team with audits and improve process documentation.
