ArcBest is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to process compensation for hourly employees, ensuring compliance with labor contracts and wage laws. The role requires accurate data handling, payroll system updates, and coordination with field staff to collect timekeeping information.
The position involves supporting various payroll schedules, handling holidays, and maintaining confidential employee records with a high degree of accuracy. Bachelor’s degree is preferred, and some experience is welcomed.
The Payroll Coordinator processes the compensation for contractual and non-contractual hourly employees. This position also ensures hourly employees are compensated in accordance with all applicable labor contracts, federal and state wage and hour laws, and company policy. The daily responsibilities of the Payroll Coordinator is an on-going challenge due to the time-sensitive nature of processing various payroll schedules and requires some flexibility when working around payroll holiday schedules.
