Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare Corporate seeks a Payroll Coordinator to accurately process biweekly and off-cycle payroll for salaried and hourly staff. You will verify, audit, and compute wage and overtime payments, administer deductions, and handle retro adjustments and PTO payouts.

You will also assist employees and managers with Kronos issues and payroll questions. Requires 1 year of payroll experience and knowledge of PeopleSoft HR/Payroll and Kronos; GED or high school diploma is required, CPP-APA

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of progressively responsible payroll work experience required.
• Experience with PeopleSoft HR/Payroll and Kronos required.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) - APA preferred (not mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly and off-cycle payroll for salaried and hourly employees within designated business unit(s).
• Perform payroll processing activities including verification, auditing and computing wage and overtime payments, recording payroll deductions, processing requests for paycheck advances, calculating retro adjustments and PTO payouts, posting adjustments to pay and tax status, and other miscellaneous changes.
• Assist employees and managers with payroll and Kronos issues, research problems to find solutions and make appropriate decisions within established policies and procedures.
