Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Miami is seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Payroll Lead to drive implementation and enhancements. You will work with Payroll, HR, and Finance stakeholders to gather requirements, perform fit‑gap analyses, and configure payroll structures and rules.

The role covers testing, deployment, post‑production support, and integration with Oracle Time & Labor, Core HR, and Financials Cloud. Strong regulatory knowledge and data‑driven reporting are essential.

Qualifications

  • Lead Oracle Fusion Payroll implementation and enhancement initiatives.
  • Conduct requirement‑gathering workshops with Payroll, HR, and Finance stakeholders.
  • Perform fit‑gap analysis and recommend Oracle best practices.
  • Configure payroll structures and payroll processing rules.
  • Support testing, deployment, and post‑production stabilization activities.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and support Payroll Definitions, Elements, Earnings, Deductions, Balances, Relationships, Payment Methods, Tax Calculations, and run payroll cycles.
  • Integrate payroll with Oracle Time and Labor (OTL), Project Time Entry, and Absence Management; ensure accurate labor cost allocation.
  • Manage payroll processes for Project‑Based Employees, Field Technicians, Contractors, Engineers, and Supervisory personnel.
  • Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; configure tax reporting and statutory deductions.
  • Integrate payroll accounting with Oracle Core HR, Oracle Financials Cloud, and PPM; validate data transfers to finance systems.
  • Develop and maintain payroll reports, labor cost reports, and compliance dashboards.
  • Support data conversions, SIT/UAT, and parallel payroll runs.
  • Train payroll admins and HR users; provide ongoing production support.

EPC Workforce Payroll Support
  • Manage payroll processes for:

  • Supervisory Personnel
  • Support multi‑project labor costing and allocation.
  • Ensure proper payroll treatment for project assignments, overtime, allowances, and travel reimbursements.
Payroll Compliance & Taxation
  • Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Configure tax reporting and statutory deductions.
  • Support:

  • Collaborate with compliance teams during audits.
Finance & Costing Integration
  • Integrate Oracle Payroll with:

  • Support payroll accounting and labor costing processes.
  • Ensure accurate transfer of payroll expenses to finance systems.
Reporting & Analytics

  • Monitor payroll KPIs including:

Training & Support
  • Train payroll administrators and HR users.
  • Prepare process documentation and training guides.
  • Provide ongoing production support.
  • Assist with Oracle quarterly cloud release testing.

Salary Range: $140,000-$150,000 a year
