Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Experience with ADP payroll systems.
• Experience in a shared service environment and a solid understanding of HR cycles.
• HR experience, preferably in an operations environment.
• Ability to effectively work as a member of the HR and finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the payroll process with other departments for the purpose of delivering services in conformance with established guidelines.
• Prepares and oversees the preparation of a variety of payroll related documents for compliance and audit references.
• Prepares quarterly unemployment compensation taxes due for states in which Fidelity has sites.
• Reconciles account balances for maintaining accurate records and complying with related policies.
• Researches discrepancies of payroll information and documentation for accuracy.
• Informs personnel and carriers regarding required documentation and procedures.
• Compiles data from a wide variety of sources for analysis and compliance monitoring.
• Verifies payroll information for accurate distribution of funds and payroll.
• Maintains payroll information and audit trail for compliance.
• Communicates with city/state/federal agencies for payroll deductions.
• Responds to written and verbal inquiries for information and direction.
• Calculates Health & Welfare payments quarterly and reconciles over/underpayments at year end.
