The Salvation Army Midland Divisional Headquarters HR team is hiring a Seasonal Payroll Clerk to support Christmas payroll operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential information.

This seasonal role is up to 30 hours per week for about 2 months (not exceeding 90 days). Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, with duties including entering new hires, bonuses, garnishments, and payroll reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be very detail oriented and able to handle confidential information.
• Strong computer literacy and accuracy in processing payroll data.

Responsabilités

• Assist Payroll Specialist with weekly Bell Ringer payroll processing during the Christmas season.
• Enter Bell Ringer new hires and rehires into the payroll system.
• Enter weekly Bell Ringer bonuses into pay batches for each payroll cycle.
• Calculate manual checks for live checks as needed.
• Assist with creating and distributing weekly payroll reports to finance and Corps.
• Enter garnishments and child support orders into payroll system as needed.
• Provide information as requested for HR, Finance, Officers, and Corps.
• Assist locations with payroll/paycheck issues when necessary.

The Salvation Army Midland Divisional Headquarters HR team is looking to hire a Seasonal Payroll Clerk to assist us with our Christmas hiring. The right candidate will be someone who is very detail-oriented, possesses a high level of integrity, and is able to handle very confidential information.

This is a seasonal position, up to 30 hour per week, with a duration of approximately 2 months, not to last longer than 90 days. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour.

The Salvation Army Midland Divisional Headquarters is located at 1130 Hampton Ave., St. Louis, Missouri.

Essential Functions

• Assists Payroll Specialist with weekly Bell Ringer payroll processing during the Christmas season.
• Works with HR team to ensure Bell Ringer hire packets are complete and accurate.
• Responsible for entering Bell Ringer new hires and rehires into payroll system.
• Enters weekly Bell Ringer bonuses into pay batch for each payroll cycle.
• Calculates manual checks for finance to cut live checks on as-needed basis.
• Assist Payroll Specialist with creating and distributing weekly payroll reports to finance and Corps as needed.
• Enter garnishments and child support orders into payroll system as needed.
• Provide information as requested for HR, Finance, Officers, and Corps.
• Assist locations with payroll/paycheck issues when necessary.
