Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Administrator for a respected organization in Connecticut. The role serves as the payroll subject matter expert, owning payroll processes and benefits administration.

You’ll work on process improvements, HRIS enhancements (Paylocity) and partner with leadership to ensure accuracy, compliance, and excellent employee experience. The position offers a strong benefits package and a healthy work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Payroll subject matter expert with strong regulatory knowledge.
• Experience with Paylocity or comparable HRIS.
• Understanding of payroll taxes and reporting.
• High accuracy and organization.
• Ability to work independently with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Process and administer payroll accurately and on time.
• Manage payroll compliance, deductions, taxes, and reporting.
• Support benefits administration and employee inquiries.
• Maintain and optimize HRIS data and processes.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
• Partner with HR and leadership to support organizational initiatives.
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of employee information.
