Eviction Defense Collaborative (EDC) in San Francisco, CA, seeks a Payroll and Benefits Specialist to manage payroll and benefit programs for 100+ employees. You will serve as the ADP administrator, coordinate enrollments and leave-related tasks, and ensure confidentiality and accuracy in every cycle.

The role requires strong compliance with CA wage-and-hour laws, superior attention to detail, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR/Accounting/Business or related field.
• At least four years of payroll and benefits administration experience.
• California HR employment law and nonprofit experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Administer end-to-end payroll processing in ADP for all employees.
• Coordinate benefit enrollments, changes, and COBRA/Cal-COBRA where applicable.
• Maintain payroll records, deductions, and tax withholdings in compliance with CA law.
• Provide clear, service-oriented assistance on eligibility, enrollment, and deductions.
