Midway Specialty Care is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to manage payroll and benefits for two entities across 160+ employees. The role partners with People Operations, Finance, and external vendors to ensure accurate, timely payroll and benefits processing in a multi-location nonprofit healthcare setting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in payroll administration, strong numerical accuracy, and experience with HRIS and benefits systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll administration experience.
• Benefits administration experience strongly preferred.
• Strong numerical accuracy and exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience working with payroll, HRIS, and benefits systems.
• Strong reconciliation, research, and problem-solving capability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Payroll Administration across two entities with 160+ employees.
• Review changes, deductions, time records, payroll data before processing.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain accurate payroll information in applicable systems.
• Coordinate payroll-related employee changes with the People Operations Team.
• Support payroll adjustments, final pay and other payroll transactions.
• Maintain payroll records and documentation.
