Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join our Portland, OR team. The role covers full-cycle payroll, benefits administration, and multi-state payroll support in a hybrid setup.

You will partner with HR, Finance, brokers, and carriers, becoming the internal payroll SME across entities while ensuring compliance and accurate timekeeping. Travel of 30% in initial period, then less.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-cycle payroll.
• Experience with multi-state payroll processing.
• Experience with payroll or HRIS platforms; ADP Workforce Now preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle payroll for multiple entities and employee groups.
• Administer employee benefits programs, enrollments, changes, and terminations.
• Reconcile payroll, deductions, taxes, and benefits-related accounts.
• Support multi-state payroll compliance and payroll tax activities.
• Serve as a resource for employee questions related to payroll, benefits, and timekeeping.
• Partner with HR, Finance, vendors, brokers, and carriers to ensure accurate payroll and benefits administration.

Salary: $70,000 - $76,000 depending on experience
Located in Portland, OR
