Job summary

CFS is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join our US-based team in a hybrid role. You will process multi-state payroll for salaried and hourly staff, optimize HRIS-driven workflows, and ensure accurate tax and compliance in new states.

You’ll manage leave administration, resolve payroll discrepancies, and serve as the primary contact for benefits programs, partnering with our broker and vendors to deliver robust total rewards.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors in HR are required.
• 3–4+ years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience with benefits administration and cross-state payroll.

Responsibilities

• Process multi-state payroll for salaried and hourly staff.
• Utilize HRIS technology to automate payroll processes.
• Set up payroll tax and compliance in new states as needed.
• Manage leave administration, including FMLA.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies as SME.
• Serve as the primary contact for employee benefits programs.
• Collaborate with the benefits broker and external vendors.
• Assist with benefits reporting, audits, and ongoing administration.
