Job summary

Loomis Sayles & Co. is a performance-driven asset management firm based in Boston, MA. This role is a full-time, hybrid position in the Finance department focusing on payroll, benefits, and tax accounting, with interaction across HR and external vendors.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Dayforce and Infor. In addition to a base salary, a discretionary incentive is offered along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; CPA a plus.
• 3+ years of accounting experience minimum.
• Excellent attention to detail and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist in compilation and review of US payroll and related benefits.
• Maintain employee data in collaboration with HR/Payroll.
• Assist in audit support for regulatory and financial audits.
• Prepare and review tax filings (sales/use, property tax, estimated payments).
• Assist in preparation of corporate tax returns and foreign filings.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries for payroll, benefits and taxes.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy.
• Book and reconcile post-employment benefits retirees and terminated employees.
• Perform budgeting/forecasting analysis for employer and employee expenses.
