Loomis Sayles is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to support payroll, benefits, and tax accounting. Hybrid role in Boston with in-office presence at least 2 days per week, reporting to Accounting Supervisor.

3–5 years of accounting experience preferred; proficiency in Excel, Dayforce, and Infor is beneficial. Requires strong communication skills and ability to handle confidential information while meeting deadlines.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of accounting experience minimum.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Proficiency with payroll and benefits accounting concepts.

Aufgaben

• Assist in compilation of data and review US payroll, benefits, and post‑employment benefits.
• Maintain employee data with HR/Payroll and assist audits.
• Prepare and review tax filings (sales, use, property, quarterly estimates).
• Assist in corporate tax returns and foreign filings.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries for payroll, benefits, and taxes.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and post retirement/terminated employee entries.
• Provide budgeting/forecasting input for employer and employee expenses.
