Job summary

Landing Point in New York is seeking a Payroll Associate to manage payroll operations for its US entities. You will ensure accuracy, compliance, and an excellent employee experience across all US locations, with End-to-end payroll processing and collaboration with HR.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of payroll experience, including US payroll.
  • Experience across multiple US jurisdictions.
  • Experience using Workday Payroll.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and manage end-to-end payroll processing for all US entities and jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Oversee payroll operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of salaries, bonuses, benefits, overtime, taxes, statutory payments, and other deductions.
  • Manage relationships with payroll vendors, ensuring payroll submissions, filings, and reporting obligations are completed accurately and on time.
  • Ensure compliance with all payroll regulatory requirements, including tax filings and statutory reporting.
  • Partner with HR to support accurate processing of compensation and benefits transactions.
  • Develop and maintain employee self-service resources and manage payroll-related queries.
  • Establish and continuously improve payroll processes, controls, and audit practices.
  • Support the onboarding of new office locations into payroll platforms and processes.
  • Assist with internal and external payroll audits across jurisdictions.
  • Collaborate closely with the payroll team to maintain consistent global payroll standards.

Qualifications


  • Experience using Workday Payroll.

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant payroll experience, with significant hands-on experience running US payroll.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of US payroll legislation, tax regulations, and statutory compliance requirements.

  • Experience managing payroll across multiple jurisdictions.

  • Advanced Excel skills.


Compensation: Salary: $120,000 – $155,000 base salary + bonus.
