Job summary

Landing Point in New York is seeking a Payroll Associate to manage payroll operations for its US entities. You will ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and an excellent employee experience across all US locations.

You will execute end-to-end payroll, collaborate with HR and vendors, and maintain payroll controls and audits while supporting onboarding of new offices into payroll platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant payroll experience, especially US payroll.
• Strong knowledge of US payroll legislation and tax regulations.
• Experience managing payroll across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

A multi-strategy, multi-manager investment platform founded in 2008 is seeking a Payroll Associate to manage payroll operations for its US entities. This role will be based in New York and will focus on ensuring accuracy, compliance, and an excellent employee experience across all US locations.

Job Responsibilities

• Execute and manage end-to-end payroll processing for all US entities and jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Oversee payroll operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of salaries, bonuses, benefits, overtime, taxes, statutory payments, and other deductions.
• Manage relationships with payroll vendors, ensuring payroll submissions, filings, and reporting obligations are completed accurately and on time.
• Ensure compliance with all payroll regulatory requirements, including tax filings and statutory reporting.
• Partner with HR to support accurate processing of compensation and benefits transactions.
• Develop and maintain employee self-service resources and manage payroll-related queries.
• Establish and continuously improve payroll processes, controls, and audit practices.
• Support the onboarding of new office locations into payroll platforms and processes.
• Assist with internal and external payroll audits across jurisdictions.
• Collaborate closely with the payroll team to maintain consistent global payroll standards.

Qualifications

• Experience using Workday Payroll.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant payroll experience, with significant hands-on experience running US payroll.
• Comprehensive knowledge of US payroll legislation, tax regulations, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Experience managing payroll across multiple jurisdictions.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Compensation

Salary: $120,000 - $155,000 base salary + bonus.
