Avista Senior Living is seeking a detail‑oriented Payroll Assistant to support accurate, timely payroll operations across our communities. You will process employee status changes, maintain payroll records, respond to payroll questions, and serve as backup payroll processor.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of payroll, HR, or related administrative experience.
• Experience with Paycom or similar HRIS/payroll system preferred.
• Working knowledge of multi-state payroll, garnishments, and wage-hour regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review PAFs for new hires, terminations, transfers and other status changes.
• Process timecard corrections and maintain payroll records.
• Respond to payroll inquiries by phone and email.
• Submit and monitor wage garnishments per court orders.
