Job summary

Oregon Ice Cream in Camas, WA seeks an Accountant II to manage payroll and accounts payable, acting as a liaison between Finance and operations to communicate results, resolve issues, and provide timely information to managers.

The role reports to the Corporate Controller, is exempt, and supports month-end close, GAAP compliance, and ERP/process improvements. Strong ADP payroll experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Accounting, HR or related field.
• Detail-oriented, organized, thorough and committed to meeting deadlines.
• Proficient in Payroll Processing Software (ADP Preferred).
• Solid people and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll and accounts payable in line with company policy.
• Research and resolve invoice, pricing, receiving, and payment discrepancies.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, including accruals and prepaid expenses.
• Support month-end close activities and ensure GAAP-compliant accounting.
• Identify and correct coding, process, and system issues.
• Communicate financial information and reconciliation results to managers.
