Vorteq Coil Finishers is seeking a Payroll & Accounts Payable Accountant to join our finance team. The role reports to the Corporate Controller and handles payroll for three pay groups, alongside supporting centralized accounts payable and related admin tasks.

Qualifications include 3+ years payroll experience, an Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred), and proficiency with payroll software such as iSolved, plus Excel and Word skills. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years payroll-specific experience.
• Minimum Associate's degree; Bachelor's preferred.
• Knowledge of payroll and general accounting.
• Proficiency with payroll software, Excel, Word, and email.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly hourly non-union and union payrolls and semimonthly salaried payroll.
• Maintain payroll records, tax information, and supporting documents.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws.
• Support accounts payable tasks and month-end accounting duties.
• Assist with 401(k) administration and annual audits.
