Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Payroll and Benefits Coordinator in Denver with a hybrid schedule. The role focuses on owning semimonthly payroll, benefits administration, PTO/timekeeping, and supporting an HRIS transition.

You will work closely with HR leadership and help integrate 22 employees through an acquisition. Ideal candidates have hands-on payroll and benefits experience in small to midsize organizations, plus Excel proficiency and comfort adapting to shifting priorities.

Qualifications

• Own semimonthly payroll processing, audit reports, and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain and validate payroll, benefits, PTO, timekeeping, and employee data during the HRIS transition.
• Audit benefits information and cross-check records for accuracy in HiBob.
• Respond directly to employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, timecards, PTO, and system changes.

Payroll and Benefits Coordinator

Looking for a role where you can own payroll and benefits while gaining hands-on HRIS implementation experience? As the Payroll and Benefits Coordinator, you’ll play an important role in an HRIS transition, employee acquisition, and growing nonprofit organization.

Compensation: $60,000–$70,000 annualized
Location: Denver, (Hybrid schedule)

• Experience independently owning payroll and benefits processes within a small or midsize organization
• Hands-on experience with semimonthly payroll and auditing payroll, benefits, PTO, timekeeping, or HRIS data
• Working knowledge of Excel for reviewing, manipulating, and analyzing payroll or HRIS reports
• The Payroll and Benefits Coordinator should be comfortable working autonomously in an environment where priorities can shift quickly
