Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a payroll professional to support the payroll shared services team across multi-state operations. This role focuses on accurate processing, tax setup, garnishments, and regulatory compliance within a large health system.

The position requires an associate degree in bookkeeping or accounting and several years of payroll experience, with strong Excel skills and the ability to work across departments. Travel is possible up to 20% for site coverage.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree with major coursework in bookkeeping, accounting or related field and 3–5 years of comprehensive payroll experience in a multi-entity/multi-state organization.
• Experience handling payroll processes, payroll tax and state reciprocity rules, garnishments, payroll regulatory compliance including FLSA, banking ACH/settlement, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Support all functional areas of payroll as a member of Trinity Health's payroll shared services team.
• Analyze and monitor payroll functions including tax setup/withholding, banking, garnishment, and general processing.
• Process, reconcile, audit, and transmit all aspects of the payroll cycle, including tax, benefits, wage attachment, and banking.
• Complete quarter-end and year-end payroll activities and assist Payroll Managers.
• Run reports and perform audits to ensure accurate data.
