Job summary

CLA is seeking a Payroll Processing Analyst (Payroll Analyst II) to join our HR Systems & Payroll (HRSP) team in Houston. You will handle a wide range of payroll responsibilities, including administration, distribution and record-keeping for our clients, while developing strong relationships with them.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least three years of payroll experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Qualifications

• Three years of payroll experience required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Experience with payroll software; knowledge of ADP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationship with clients.
• Input, verify and transmit payroll data for clients.
• Update the payroll system for new hires, terminations, salary changes, department changes or any other pertinent payroll information received.
• Prepare quarterly payroll tax reports as needed.
• Complete mortgage and SUI verifications, as requested.
• Assist with workers' compensation audits, preparation of employee census data, upload retirement plan contribution data, respond to tax notices as necessary.
• Process bonus payments and other special payrolls upon request.
