Job summary

Veritiv is seeking a Payroll Analyst to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for all U.S. employees. The role partners with HR Services to optimize payroll processes and supports related HR payroll activities, handling confidential data with discretion.

The ideal candidate will have Workday experience, strong Excel skills, and a proven ability to analyze payroll data while upholding SOX standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Finance/Payroll experience required.
• Workday experience preferred.
• Excel proficiency expected.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine payroll tasks for U.S. employees with accuracy.
• Adhere to payroll policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Document payroll processes to ensure consistency and SOX compliance.
• Collaborate with HR Services to optimize and automate daily payroll tasks.
• Coordinate with the 3rd party vendor on ad hoc payroll issues.
• Serve as Veritiv payroll analytics expert for reporting support.
• Reconcile with Workday time tracking system on routine questions.
• Support HR Services payroll-related projects and duties.
