The role involves day-to-day payroll administration, timekeeping, employee payroll changes, payroll audits, and related reporting. A CPP certification is preferred and ADP Workforce Now experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with payroll processing and administration.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of payroll compliance, tax requirements, timekeeping, leave administration, overtime, and payroll deductions.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential employee and payroll information with discretion.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Review and maintain employee timekeeping records, including regular hours, overtime, leave, and shift differentials.
• Manage payroll-related employee changes, including new hires, compensation changes, deductions, and other payroll updates.
• Support employee onboarding and ensure payroll information is entered accurately and timely.
• Perform payroll audits and reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure payroll practices comply with applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
• Support payroll tax filings and related compliance activities.
• Monitor and administer leave, overtime, and shift differential calculations.
• Research and resolve employee payroll questions and discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
• Partner with HR, Finance, and other internal teams on payroll-related matters.
• Assist with payroll reporting, audits, and other payroll projects as needed.
