Job summary

Connexion Systems & Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Administrator to manage domestic payroll across the United States using ADP Workforce Now. You will handle weekly and bi-weekly cycles, ensure data accuracy, and coordinate with HR, Finance, and external vendors.

The role requires 5+ years in payroll, expertise in multi-state payroll, wage and hour rules, and W-2 review, with strict adherence to internal controls and deadlines. This is a full-time onsite position in West Warwick, RI.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in accounting/finance/business administration/HR.
• Five+ years of payroll administration/ payroll accounting experience.
• Experience with multi-state payroll and wage/hour, tax, and deductions rules.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now.

Responsibilities

• Own domestic payroll processing using ADP Workforce Now for weekly/bi-weekly cycles and off-cycle payments.
• Validate timekeeping data, earnings, deductions, PTO, taxes and direct deposits before processing.
• Perform payroll reconciliations and variance reviews for gross-to-net accuracy.
• Coordinate with HR to process hires, terminations, status changes, and compensation changes promptly.
• Maintain payroll records and audit documentation per internal controls.
• Support payroll tax activities including notices, quarter/year-end reconciliations, and W-2 review.
• Conduct payroll audits and implement corrective actions with stakeholders.
• Assist with audits and obtain complete payroll documentation for records.
