LHH is assisting a successful and growing client in Suffolk County, NY in finding a Payroll Specialist. The ideal candidate will demonstrate 3+ years of in-house payroll experience, including union payroll, and will manage weekly and bi-weekly payroll for 500+ staff on a fully onsite basis.

Our client is a successful and growing company searching for a Payroll Specialist in Suffolk County, NY. The proper candidate will have at least three years of payroll experience, union/non-union required, construction industry preferred. You will handle an in-house weekly and bi-weekly payroll for over 500 employees . This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that can offer you a challenge as well as stability. They are FULLLY ONSITE and looking for local candidates. Salary ranges from $80,000 to $90,000 plus a generous benefits package.

The responsibilities of the Payroll Manager job include:

• Processing of a large, union and non-union employee payroll
• Assure accuracy of payroll for both hourly and salaried employees
• Adhere to all federal and state regulations
• Work with employees to resolve any issues with compensation

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3+ years of in-house payroll experience
• Must have experience with union payroll
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork mentality and the willingness to go over and above as needed
