Job summary

Switch is seeking a Payroll Administrator Contractor to support accurate and timely payroll processing for U.S. employees. You will review changes, earnings, deductions, taxes, and garnishments, and perform payroll audits and reconciliations to correct discrepancies.

Based in Las Vegas, this role is onsite two days per week and requires hands-on experience with UKG and preferably Oracle payroll modules. You will maintain confidential data and collaborate with People Services, Total Rewards,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of U.S. payroll administration experience.
• Hands-on UKG experience required.
• Experience with payroll processing, audits, and validations.
• Knowledge of earnings, deductions, taxes, and garnishments.
• Experience resolving payroll discrepancies with confidentiality and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Process and validate payroll transactions to support accurate and timely payroll delivery.
• Review employee changes, earnings, deductions, taxes, garnishments, and other payroll inputs for accuracy.
• Perform payroll audits and reconciliations and correct identified discrepancies.
• Research and resolve payroll errors, employee pay questions, and processing exceptions.
• Maintain payroll-related employee data, records, and supporting documentation within UKG.
• Prepare payroll reports and review payroll interfaces and data files for accuracy and completeness.
• Partner with People Services, Total Rewards, Finance, HR, and other internal teams to resolve payroll-related issues.
• Support payroll testing, system enhancements, data validation, and process changes.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll accuracy, controls, consistency, and efficiency.
