Position Summary: The Payroll Accounting Specialist works with the Manager of Payroll Accounting and Reporting and partnered vendors to ensure all insurance account reconciliations are completed in a timely manner, including billing and administering health insurance deductions for non-twelve month employees. The position assists with journal entries, posting entries to the general ledger, and posting payrolls. Ensures garnishments files are up to date and reported.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration; equivalent experience in lieu of education
2. Experience: Three (3) years accounting or payroll experience
3. Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite, with advanced proficiency in Excel
4. Bilingual in Spanish preferred
