Job summary

Eneba is seeking a Payroll Accountant to manage full payroll cycles for Lithuanian and international entities, ensuring accurate compensation and compliance with local laws. You will collaborate with HR, handle timesheets, and prepare salaried tax declarations.

The role requires 2–3 years of payroll experience, Lithuanian payroll law knowledge, and proficiency with ERP systems like Navision or SAP. English fluency is expected.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of payroll accounting or payroll administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Lithuanian labor law, payroll taxation, and social security.
• Experience with payroll reporting to VMI and SODRA.
• Proficiency with payroll/ERP software (Navision, SAP, or similar).
• Excellent Excel skills for payroll data analysis and reconciliation.
• Fluent Lithuanian and proficient English (spoken and written).
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field preferred.

• Independently manage the full payroll cycle for Lithuanian and foreign entities, including salary calculations, overtime, bonuses, vacation pay, sick leave, and other compensation components.
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with Lithuanian labor law, tax regulations, and internal company policies.
• Prepare and submit payroll-related tax declarations and reports to state authorities (VMI, SODRA), including GPM, VSD, and PSD contributions.
• Maintain and reconcile payroll accounts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate general ledger entries related to payroll.
• Administer employee timesheets, attendance records, and employment documentation in accordance with legal requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the HR team to ensure accurate employee data, handle onboarding/offboarding payroll setup, and manage employment contract changes affecting compensation.
• Provide payroll-related support during internal and external audits, preparing necessary documentation and reports.
• Monitor changes in Lithuanian labor legislation and tax regulations, ensuring the company's payroll processes remain fully compliant.
• Cooperate with third-party payroll providers and tax consultants for foreign entities as needed.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and automation of payroll processes and related internal controls.

• Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in payroll accounting or payroll administration.
• Solid knowledge of Lithuanian labor law, payroll taxation (GPM, VSD, PSD), and social security regulations.
• Experience with payroll-related reporting to VMI and SODRA.
• Proficiency in payroll and/or ERP accounting software (e.g., Navision, SAP, or similar).
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for payroll data analysis and reconciliation.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight monthly deadlines.
• Fluent in Lithuanian and proficient in English (spoken and written).
• A degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience processing payroll for multiple entities or international group companies.
• Familiarity with IFRS reporting requirements related to employee benefits and compensation.
• Experience with payroll process automation or system implementation projects.

€30,000 - €40,000 a year Salary ranges may vary. We're seeking candidates with varied experience levels; from individual contributors to functional leaders in this space.
