Qualifications

• Bachelor's/associate degree in business, accounting, finance, HR, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience in payroll service provider/PEO or HR consulting is beneficial.
• Professional payroll or HR certification (CPP/PHR) is a plus.

Role Description The Payroll Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bradenton, FL. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing for assigned client accounts, including data collection, verification, and timely submission of payroll runs. The Payroll Account Manager will respond to client inquiries, troubleshoot payroll issues, and ensure accurate tax calculations, deductions, and reporting. Daily responsibilities include maintaining payroll records, monitoring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and collaborating with internal teams in HR, benefits, and workers' compensation to deliver integrated client solutions. The role also involves building strong client relationships, identifying process improvements, and supporting the onboarding and training of clients on payroll systems and best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong payroll administration skills, including experience with multi-state payroll processing, tax withholdings, deductions, and year-end reporting.
• Experience in account management or client services, with the ability to build long-term relationships and manage multiple client accounts effectively.
• Knowledge of HR practices, workers' compensation, and basic insurance principles, with an understanding of how these functions interact with payroll.
• Familiarity with payroll and HRIS software, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office productivity tools, and comfort working with data and reports.
• Solid understanding of federal, state, and local payroll regulations, compliance requirements, and recordkeeping standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work on-site in Bradenton, FL, manage deadlines, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
