Job summary

SGA Dental Partners in Claxton, GA, is seeking a Payor Contracting Manager to lead payor contracting and credentialing across multiple locations. You will supervise credentialing teams, own the contracting function, and drive process improvements while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The role requires 5+ years in payor contracting/credentialing within healthcare or dental settings, plus 2+ years of leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of payor contracting, credentialing, or revenue cycle management in healthcare or dental.
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of insurance payor processes and credentialing standards.
• Experience with payer portals, CAQH, and provider data management.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise the credentialing support teams.
• Provide complete ownership and oversight of the payor contracting function, including day-to-day execution during high-volume periods.
• Train, mentor, and manage team performance for efficiency and accuracy.
• Address contracting/credentialing issues for contracts, renewals, new locations, missing documentation, and payor updates.
• Load new providers and offices into contracting system and coordinate with payors.
• Maintain and track current provider credentials, including licenses, COIs, and expirables.
• Lead communication with offices during contract changes or renewals.
• Collaborate with revenue cycle leadership to identify process improvements.
