Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced Payments Tech product owner/Tech Business Analyst in Dallas, TX. You will bridge Product, Operations, and Technology, driving requirements, analysis, and delivery of wire payments initiatives.

Ideal candidates bring extensive BA/PO experience in Banking/Payments, strong requirements skills, and Agile mindset. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and support UAT, testing, and implementation activities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role.
• Strong experience within Banking, Financial Services, or Payments domain.
• Proven experience working on Payments initiatives, preferably Wire Payments.
• Excellent requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation skills.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Operations, and Technology teams to understand business objectives and operational needs.
• Elicit, analyze, document, and refine business and functional requirements.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate requirement workshops, stakeholder meetings, and solution discussions.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with Product Owners and Operations teams to prioritize requirements and manage scope.
• Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and user experience.
• Support solution design discussions and ensure alignment between business requirements and technical implementation.
• Assist testing teams in preparing test scenarios, validating functionality, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Identify business risks, dependencies, and impacts associated with proposed changes.
• Support implementation activities, production validation, and post-deployment issue resolution.

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Tech/Business Analyst with strong domain expertise in the Financial Services and Payments industry, preferably in Wire Payments. The ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between Product, Operations, and Technology teams, helping drive requirements gathering, analysis, solution design, and delivery of payments-related initiatives.

This role requires a combination of business analysis, stakeholder management, and technical understanding to translate business needs into actionable requirements for technology teams. Experience with wire payment systems, including familiarity with Fedwire, The Clearing House (TCH), and related payment processing ecosystems, is highly desirable.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Fedwire and/or The Clearing House (TCH) payment systems.
• Understanding of payment message formats and payment processing workflows.
• Experience working with payment operations, treasury services, or transaction banking platforms.
• Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, and data mapping exercises.
• Prior Product Owner or Product Analyst experience.
• Experience using Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Salary Range- $100,000-$110,000 a year
