Job summary

TD Securities seeks a Director, Payments Strategy & Transformation in New York to shape the payments agenda and translate strategy into target-state capabilities, roadmaps, and investment cases. Qualifications

• An undergraduate degree is required, 7+ years in payments/transaction banking strategy.
• Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem, ISO 20022, ACH, wires.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead enterprise initiatives.
• Experience with modernization of payment platforms and data analytics.
• Excellent presentation and writing skills for executives.
• Executive presence and cross-functional leadership.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous, matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Own high-priority payments strategy and transformation engagements from problem definition and workplan development through recommendation, implementation planning and execution oversight.
• Translate business objectives and client payment needs into target-state capabilities, process flows, product roadmaps, business requirements, prioritized backlogs and delivery artifacts.
• Establish and govern payment requirements across pre-processing, processing, clearing, settlement and post-transaction reporting.
• Ensure payment requirements address ISO 20022, SWIFT, sanctions and AML controls, data privacy and auditability.
• Lead design for wires, ACH and mass payments, real-time/payments, cross-border services and tokenized data considerations.
• Coordinate with business, product, operations, engineering, risk, compliance and legal to align priorities.
