Job summary

TD Securities in New York, NY is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the Payments Modernization portfolio, with a primary focus on Modern High Value Payments and related cross-border wires modernization initiatives.

You will drive delivery planning, integrated execution, RAID management, governance coordination, stakeholder engagement, vendor coordination, and executive-ready reporting across business, operations, technology, risk, compliance, and vendor partners in a highly matrixed

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive project management or delivery leadership experience.
• Experience managing complex projects across business, operations, technology, vendor, risk, compliance, finance, testing, change management, and governance stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of project management disciplines including planning, milestones, dependency tracking, RAID, governance reporting, and executive communications.
• Experience with Agile, waterfall, or hybrid delivery models and coordinating across scrum teams and delivery pods.
• Strong understanding of payments, wires, ISO 20022, SWIFT, and payment operations workflows.
• Experience with vendor deliverables, SOW coordination, testing readiness, and production readiness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for leadership updates and decision materials.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute Payments Modernization releases and delivery activities with clear milestones and dependencies.
• Coordinate with business, operations, technology, risk, and vendor stakeholders to align expectations.
• Prepare governance materials, risk, and issue management updates for leadership forums.
• Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring ownership, due dates, actions, and escalation are tracked to closure.
• Deliver concise updates and escalation notes for executive reviews.
