Job summary

Capital One is seeking a seasoned professional to define and implement enterprise payments governance, elevating governance practices and establishing data-driven risk reporting. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and executive leadership to drive strategic initiatives aligned with business priorities.

You will deploy Generative AI tools to automate risk monitoring, build real-time dashboards with data analytics, and align data strategy with the Enterprise Risk Management framework

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in risk management.
• At least 2 years of storytelling and presenting technical ideations across multiple stakeholder groups.
• At least 3 years of relationship management experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in data management or reporting.
• At least 2 years of experience using Google Suite or Microsoft Office.
• At least 2 years of experience using Generative AI tools.
• At least 4 years of experience in the banking or financial industry.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the future of payments governance across the enterprise.
• Tackle major payments-related challenges and elevate day-to-day governance practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to maintain a dynamic, resilient, and well-managed payments ecosystem.
• Partner with executive leadership to shape governance strategy and drive critical initiatives aligned with business priorities.
• Design data-driven risk reporting frameworks that translate risk metrics into actionable executive insights.
• Identify and deploy Generative AI and automation tools to eliminate manual risk monitoring and modernize workflows.
• Partner with data analytics teams to build dynamic, real-time dashboards for proactive trend analysis and early risk identification.
• Connect data strategy with 1st and 2nd Line of Defense teams to align with the Enterprise Risk Management framework.
• Lead cross-functional reporting efforts on behalf of EPGO and consult with executive leadership to enable enterprise-wide risk initiatives.
