Job summary

BILL in the United States is seeking a skilled software engineer to join our payment platform, building scalable payment systems and collaborating with product, design, and data science teams to deliver reliable, high-volume capabilities.

You will work with Java, Spring Boot, and AWS in a fast-paced fintech environment, promoting security, scalability, and engineering best practices while contributing to a culture of inclusion and innovation.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience developing and supporting scalable payment systems using Java, Spring Boot, AWS cloud services.
• Exposure to microservices architecture, messaging queues, event streaming, SQL/NoSQL databases, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrating with third-party payment providers through APIs, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues in live production environments.
• Experience in automating deployment, testing, and infrastructure management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Collaborate with product and business teams to drive payment innovation and align technical solutions with business goals.
• Work within critical payment systems
• Advocate for scalability, reliability, security, and engineering best practices within the team.
• Participate in team meetings and technical discussions to help drive continuous improvement.
• Experience leveraging Gen AI technologies to accelerate software engineering by designing prompts, rigorously evaluating outputs, and integrating LLMs
