Job summary

Citi is seeking a Senior Vice President to lead Payments Operations Transformation in Poland. You will define AI-driven strategies, drive UI adoption, and align with the Target Operating Model while collaborating with global teams to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance the client experience.

The role requires deep domain expertise in cross-border payments, regulatory readiness, and a track record of delivering large-scale process improvements within a global financial institution.

Qualifications

• Multi-years experience in operational processes related to payments, with a record of process improvements.
• Deep domain expertise in cross-border payment processing, ISO 20022, ACH, Nostro reconciliation, and regulatory requirements.
• Thought leadership in AI adoption and intelligent automation within financial operations.
• Senior stakeholder management and ability to influence roadmaps across large organizations.
• Experience using Jira; familiarity with Scrum/Kanban is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define AI and UI strategy for Ops UI adoption across Services Ops with a modern, intelligent interface roadmap.
• Lead AI-driven efficiency initiatives to automate workflows and decision-making.
• Engage senior Product and Tech stakeholders to align on AI-enabled utilities vision.
• Collaborate cross-LOB to scale best practices enterprise-wide.
• Oversee governance forums to report progress and secure executive sponsorship.
• Direct data integration with operational data sources to gain insights into performance.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs via process optimization and technology adoption.
• Define operational requirements for new features emphasizing scalability and supportability.
• Oversee metrics for operational savings and report to executives.
• Govern test case validation and PVT scenario definitions with affected areas.
• Lead launch readiness and post-launch support including training materials and dashboards.
