Job summary

Citi’s US Consumer Cards Technology Strategy & Operations team seeks a Senior Vice President to lead the technology strategy, modernization, and economic modeling for the credit card platforms. The role bridges payments engineering, business case formulation, and executive storytelling to secure capital investments and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit card application and platform modernization programs.
• Experience leading technology strategy development, annual strategy refreshes, and multi-pillar strategic initiatives.
• 10+ years of management consulting, technology, and/or strategy & ops experience preferred.
• Strong, concise storytelling and executive presentation skills.
• Quantitative & analytic fluency, including TCO and business case modeling.
• Uses AI to accelerate workflows and sharpen frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and advance all pillars of the USCC Technology Strategy, driving alignment between architectural roadmaps and business objectives.
• Lead the annual refresh of the USCC Technology Strategy reflecting evolving priorities and standards.
• Formulate long-term vision and multi-year roadmap to modernize legacy credit card apps to a cloud-native state.
• Establish and govern the modernization program with milestones and metrics.
• Define integration blueprints with Citi systems (Identity, Fraud, Rewards, Collections, Risk).
• Partner with Architecture to design coexistence and migration for high-volume transactions.
