Job summary

Foundation Software LLC is seeking a Director of Payments to lead Foundation Pay across underwriting, onboarding, implementation, support and account management. The role partners with Development, Education, Sales, and other teams to align strategy, improve product functionality, and ensure a scalable, customer-centric operation.

You will drive organizational structure, SOPs, and KPI-based performance while shaping the future of Foundation Pay in a fast-growing construction software company

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years in payments operations, implementation, customer support, or related customer-facing roles.
• 3-5+ years of leadership experience building and scaling operational teams.
• Experience across underwriting, onboarding, implementation, and ongoing support.
• Proven ability to document and improve SOPs and standardized workflows.
• Strong analytical skills with KPI definition and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and executive-level presentation capabilities.
• Ability to manage complex customer relationships and cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Foundation Pay strategy for 2027 and beyond.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and product line growth.
• Define and monitor KPIs across underwriting, onboarding, support, and account management.
• Build an effective team structure and scalable operations for 1–5+ years.
• Lead and mentor teams with clear roles, ownership, and accountability.
• Collaborate with Development, Education, Sales, and other teams to prioritize enhancements.
• Oversee end-to-end customer journey ensuring consistent experience.
