Job summary

Greater Nevada Credit Union is seeking a Payment Operations Specialist in Reno/Carson City to manage payment transactions across ACH, checks, wires, and mobile deposits. You will monitor posting accuracy, resolve exceptions, and ensure NACHA/ECCHO compliance while supporting audits and process improvements.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma and at least two years of experience with ACH, wires, or check clearing, strong attention to detail, and proficient Microsoft Office skills in a

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of experience with ACH, Wire Transfers, Check clearing or other payment channel methods required.
• Previous Financial Institution experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use multiple payment systems to conduct in-house member transactions and ensure timely posting.
• Identify, investigate and resolve payment issues and review for potential fraud.
• Test changes in the core test environment to ensure functions operate as expected.
• Facilitate money movement requests in accordance with procedures and respond to inquiries.
• Participate in payment operations audits and support regulatory compliance.
