Job summary

Citi is seeking a seasoned Technology Quality leader to drive modernization of CitiDirect Payments, focusing on the validation layer and testing framework. You will lead scrum teams, own key programs, and partner with Product Owners and business partners to translate requirements into reliable delivery.

You will champion intelligent automation, introduce AI-assisted approaches to capture requirements, and ensure dashboards and JIRA hygiene are maintained for executive reviews.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product ownership/BA/TPM/QA experience in financial industry
• Extensive experience with JIRA and program tracking methodologies
• Proven track record of leading successful software projects and mentoring team members
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex program challenges
• Strong communication skills with the ability to understand technical concepts and discuss with technical and non-technical partners

Responsibilities

• Provide project leadership and mentorship to scrum teams within CitiDirect Payments
• Provide leadership for testing within CitiDirect Payments and partner with end-to-end testing team to ensure clean deliveries
• Participate in requirements gathering and documentation of dependent teams; own a subset of programs
• Lead planning and execution of major development initiatives and projects
• Oversee JIRA quality; ensure proper dates/JIRA hygiene is followed
• Drive adoption of new tracking methods and AI to capture requirements and manage tracking
• Review options with AI to automate turning JIRA user stories into test cases
• Ensure dashboards are up to date for product meetings and escalations are handled early
