Job summary

Lumion is seeking a Director of Payments to own the payments engine across 345+ schools, driving origination, servicing, and collections with an in-house team. You report to the CEO and own the P&L, utilization, and reporting for payments.

You will lead the in-house servicing, drive automation, and maintain strong collection performance while shaping the payments product and student portal improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in consumer finance, payments, or fintech operations.
• Hands-on leader who builds and fixes systems.
• Ability to optimize origination, portfolio performance, and collections.

Responsibilities

• Own the P&L, volume, servicing and collections for payments.
• Drive origination and usage of the platform across schools.
• Lead in-house servicing and collections operating US-based teams.
• Own reporting for origination, collections, and portfolio health.
• Own payments product improvements for student and school portals.
