Job summary

Lumion is seeking a Lead Engineer to own the payments platform in South Jordan, Utah. You will lead a seasoned engineering team, shape the architecture behind payment plans, ledgers, allocation, and settlement, and work closely with servicing to improve collections and revenue.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong programming depth across multiple languages and stacks.
• Experience owning production systems involving money movement and financial recordkeeping.
• Ability to lead engineers, set direction, and coach the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the payments platform engineering team and own the systems for plans, ledgers, allocation, and payoff calculations.
• Collaborate with servicing to improve collections and revenue opportunities.
• Make technical and product decisions while also contributing code and solving complex production problems.
• Set and uphold high engineering standards and mentor team members.
